ST. COLMCILLE'S S.N.S

Last week, May 26th, we were notified by An Taisce that St. Colmcille’s Senior National School has been awarded our seventh Green Flag for Global Citizenship and Energy.

We are delighted to receive the award as environmental awareness is a key value for all of us in our school community.

Thank you to our Green Committee of Ms. A. O'Gara, Ms. A. Kennelly,
Ms. A. Smith and Ms. G. Maher who co-ordinated our efforts this year, to the pupils on our Green School Committee and indeed to all our pupils who remind us every day to reduce, reuse and recycle.

A special mention must go to Annmarie O’Gara who has now been associated with achieving all seven of our Green Flags! A fantastic achievement and a testament to her commitment over many years to the Green Schools initiative and making a difference to our environment in the simple things that we all can do every day. Thank you Annmarie.
