This year the four classes that are in the house of Iona are Room 6, Mr Ruddy's class, Room 11, Ms. Maher's class, Room 13, Mr. Horan and Prefab 1, Mr. Johnston's class. Mr. Connolly and Ms. O Regan are the co-ordinators for the house.
The house of Iona has been named after St. Colmcille's chief monastery on the island of Iona just off the coast of Scotland. It was in this monastery that St. Colmcille spent most of his life following his exile from Ireland.
